RIDGE KIDS

At the Ridge Church we care deeply about growing the Next Generation in their knowledge and love of Jesus. We offer classes from infants through fifth grade. Our Ridge Family and teachers provide fun and engaging age-appropriate lessons during each of our services.

If it’s your first time visiting the Ridge, you can pre-register your child using the link below. Sundays can get busy, and this is a great way to save time and make your check-in process quick and easy when you arrive.

If you’re already in our Ridge Kids database, you can make things even faster by adding your child’s QR code to the virtual wallet on your smartphone. When you arrive for any service, simply scan the code for a touchless, streamlined check-in experience—no need to go through the full process each time.

Your First Visit

Attending for the first time? Don’t worry! When you arrive, our volunteers at the Welcome Center can show you where our Ridge Kids Check-In station is and help you create an account. We will meet your family, help check your child into class, and answer any questions you may have. We can't wait to meet you!

Safety

Our Ridge Kids volunteers are trained to create a place where families can confidently leave their children in class while they're in the service. Every volunteer is screened with a background check and adults without one are not able to be in classrooms or nursery.  The kid's hallway is monitored. And we can easily page you during a service if your child needs you. Don't worry parents - we've got this!

What We Teach

Your kids will experience an age-appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and His love for them. We currently use the Gospel Project curriculum that takes kids on a study through the entire Bible from Genesis-Revelation in about a 3 year span. 
All of our teaching is congruent with our Statement of Beliefs.

  • We offer individual classes for the following ages |

    • Nursery (0-2 year olds) can be dropped off 15 minutes before each service

    • 3-4 year olds will be dismissed after family worship

    • Kindergarten - 1st Grade will be dismissed after family worship

    • 2nd -3rd Grade will be dismissed after family worship

    • 4th - 5th grade will be dismissed after family worship

  • Ridge Kids offers a Family Room for families who would like to stay together with their young children during the service. Located on the right side of the auditorium, this space is designed to be both comfortable and convenient.

    Inside, you’ll find cozy seating, a TV with a live broadcast of the service, a changing table, and a few toys to help keep your little one content.

    The Family Room is open to any caregivers—we hope it’s a helpful and welcoming space for your family!

  • Children are always welcome to worship alongside their families—we truly value seeing families worship together. For that reason, we don’t dismiss Ridge Kids until after the worship portion of the service.

    After worship, you’re welcome to keep your child with you or have them join a Ridge Kids class—whichever works best for your family. If your child becomes a distraction to those around you, we kindly invite you to make use of our Family Room in the auditorium or bring them to a Ridge Kids class.

    We’re always glad to have your children with us and are here to support you however we can!

  • If we need to reach you during the service, a Ridge Kids volunteer will send a message directly to your phone.

    If you’re unable to respond right away, your name will be displayed on the screen so you can step out and assist your child.
